Teacher Grants

Chuck Miller Teacher Grants

In 1990, Peninsula Education Foundation was able to establish the Chuck Miller Teacher Grant program due to the generosity of Chuck Miller, former Rancho Vista Elementary principal, past president of PEF and local business leader. PEF’s Chuck Miller Teacher Grants are an important resource for teachers to provide unique experiences and learning opportunities for students that are outside of the classroom budget.

This annual teacher grant program empowers educators to bring innovative ideas and creative projects to life by providing the resources they might not otherwise have, enhancing classroom learning and inspiring students in impactful ways.

Congratulations to our 2024 Chuck Miller Teacher Grant recipients!

The 2024 Chuck Miller Teacher Grant recipients were recently honored at the Major Donor Reception held at a beautiful home in Rancho Palos Verdes. These passionate and dedicated educators bring creativity, innovation, and inspiration to our classrooms every day. Forty-nine grants (up to $1500 each) were awarded to PVPUSD teachers and staff.  We are so proud to have them shaping the future of our students!
