PEF High School Ambassadors

Peninsula Education Foundation’s High School Ambassadors are student leaders who serve as a vital link between PEF and their school communities. Representing Palos Verdes High and Peninsula High, these students help share PEF’s mission, promote events and fundraising efforts, and inspire others to get involved in supporting our schools.

Throughout the year, ambassadors speak at Back-to-School Nights, PEF events, and community activities, while also volunteering at programs like Pledge Day, 1Day100K, Toast on the Coast, and the Skechers Friendship Walk. Their voices and enthusiasm help connect families, students, and the broader community to the impact of PEF’s work across all 17 PVPUSD schools.

We are looking for highly motivated, articulate and passionate students (juniors or seniors) who will serve as official PEF Ambassadors. You will gain experience working in a non-profit environment and will develop skills in marketing, communications, fundraising and development..

Some of your duties will include:

• serve as a liaison between PEF and high school students and their families
• help build awareness of PEF and its mission
• attend one PEF Board of Trustees meetings within the academic school year

PEF has built a name in the Palos Verdes community by raising much needed funds for all 17 schools in the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District. Since PEF’s inception 47 years ago, we have raised more than $63 million, ensuring Palos Verdes public school students continue to have excellent academic programs and teachers.

Students at each high school will be selected to serve as PEF Ambassadors from July 2026-June 2027. Hours are flexible and we will work with your schedule. Please fill out and submit application below by Sunday, June 7, 2026.
